Some places touch you so deeply that they feel like home – even when they are far away. For me, Crete is exactly such a place. For many years, we have been drawn there again and again, to Gouves on the island’s northern coast. With every visit, the connection grows stronger, more familiar – like a second home waiting for us as soon as we arrive.
